Italian food is my favorite, which also makes it my favorite to cook. I also really love to make southern food, as my whole family is from TN and KY.

Black eyed peas and cornbread every New Years and a potluck-style Thanksgiving at my grandma's.
My cooking tragedies
Mashed potatoes. I have a tendency to turn them into potato soup for some reason.

Shrimp and Asparagus
I haven't actually made this yet, but a friend of ours had us over for dinner and made it, and it was absolutely fabulous! I'm really looking forward to making this on my own, it was the best shrimp with pasta I've ever had!

Hearty Ranch and Bacon Potato Soup
Tastes great! I accidentally burned my bacon though, so the soup ended up being a gross brownish color. Also, I had to add some mashed potato flakes to thicken it up. Pretty tasty, though!

Corn Dogs
Much better than the frozen ones! A little time consuming and not very good for you though, so this will probably be more of a treat than a regular meal.
