Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2006
We thought this was very good. I had run out of fresh lemons, so I just squeezed some lemon and some lime juice on them. We grilled them outside on a charcoal grill in a fish basket and they turned out great. We had two leftover filets so a couple night later I served them shredded in aldredo sauce over noodles. It was good as well.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2006
We had this for dinner last night and it was wonderful. I used balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. I also used fresh sage and an extra clove of garlic. I loved the sauce! It has a similar taste to the sesame chicken sauce that I order from our local chinese delivery. Next time I may add a little ginger and some sesame seeds to make it a little more chinese. I bet this sauce would be good on chicken dipped in tempura and fried as well. Mmmm...Thanks a bunch for the recipe!

Apple and Orange Chicken

Although it smelled good cooking, it tasted too strange when I tried it. I threw the chicken with some bbq and discarded the sauce.

Whiskey Steak

I don't know what I did wrong, but my sauce separated and turned into a clumpy disgusting mess and it smelled absolutely horrible. We ate the steaks with just the mustard and threw away the sauce.

Raspberry Tilapia

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
My boyfriend and I thought this one was pretty good. We couldn't find any raspberry vinegar, but I had some leftover raspberry salad dressing. It was kind of thick so I thinned it with apple cidar vinegar.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

My boyfriend and I really like this recipe. We have used it several times since we found it. I use fat free mayo and I also add an 1/8 tsp garlic powder. We usually have it with spinach and northern beans.

Barlow's Blackened Catfish

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
My boyfriend and I LOVED this recipe. It was very very spicy though and I had to drink two glasses of cola for one pretty nice size filet. I only used 1 teaspoon of salt and about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the pepper. I will maybe cut down on the cayenne a little next time...maybe just one teaspoon and substitute a teaspoon of paprika for the second...but other than that I will leave it the same. I served this fish with spinach cooked in bacon grease and northern beans...yum.

Jalapeno Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2006
I liked this recipe, but I added several things. I used melted bacon fat in place of the oil and added crumbled bacon, cheddar and corn cut from one mini frozen cob cob.
