Chicken Cashew Salad

I always get compliments on this salad. Sometimes I substitute halved purple grapes for the celery, or sometimes still keep the celery in the salad. I think you can twist this many ways, but 5 stars for the original recipe.

Mocha Cooler

All I have to say is OMG this is wonderful! SO close to the McD's frappe it is crazy. I added some International vanilla caramel powder to the mix, just because my daughter wanted to, just a couple tablespoons and I will be making this probably too much!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Wonderful! I hate it when people rate things when they don't make it 'exactly' as written, but I did make a couple changes. I doubled the sauce like many had suggested, did 1/2 brn sugar, 1/2 white..then i threw them in the crock pot all day, only using 1/2 the sauce. When they were done I put the rest of the sauce over it, then stuck them in the oven to warm for a short amount of time. Everyone raved. Will make them again, for sure!

Cherry Coconut Bars

Ok..I rarely give bad reviews here. First of all, the flavor of this bar is very good. However, it doesn't have near enough cherries to barely even cover it! Secondly, it is so messy when you go to cut this, the top cracks and is not very presentable on a cookie tray. 3 stars is pushing it in my opinion.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

I try to make recipes exactly as written, but used 1/2 margarine and 1/2 butter because that is what I had available. They turned out awesome, cannot imagine being any better with all butter. Will be adding these to my regular Christmas cookie platter!

Soft Gingersnaps

I have to admit Gingersnaps have never been my favorite, however these are out of this world, soft, chewy, just the right amount of molasses flavor. I think these will go fast! I made it exactly as written. I wouldn't change a thing!!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

YUMMY! This turned out terrific, I used 3 small lemons since my lemons were pretty tiny. Otherwise I made it and rated it EXACTLY as it is written and I will make it again and again. Oh yea, it does help to have your eggs at room temperature.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

These are terrific. I used both regular sized muffin tins and the mini ones...both were out of this world. I did what one reviewer suggested and that is cool quickly in the freezer, just took minutes! I know these won't last long at our house!!

Cindy's Jambalaya

I hate it when people review recipes and give them a poor rating when not made exactly as written. I thought this recipes was terrific, I didn't have celery, bay leaves or thyme...but without these things it was awesome, with them I am sure even better!!! I give it 5 stars, my husband loves jambalaya and was pretty impressed.

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

This dip is sooo yummy! doesn't last long at a party. I did make a modification, because I did not have blue cheese dressing I used ranch dressing and crumbled blue cheese. Will keep this recipe close and make it often!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

I thought this was great..only had about 2/3 cup of mayo and it turned out excellent. I sprinkled a blend of asiago, parmesan and romano cheese (Sams club) and turned out awesome~ next time might try adding bigger chunks of jalapeno.

Layered Spinach Salad

While I hesitate to rate this since I didn't make it EXACTLY as directed, here goes anyway. These are the changes I made: didn't have cabbage so just used teh spinach. Added sliced cukes and sliced hard boiled eggs to it. Used ranch dressing as well as an asiago peppercorn dressing. It was awesome, but I can't believe these changes would alter the outcome..I think it would be just as good as the recipe is written.

Linda's Monster Cookies

I never thought I would be one of "those"..that rate a recipe based on changes I made. HOWEVER, I did read several reviews on this recipe and decided that I love peanut butter so much I had to try it in this cookie. I used 1/2 cup of p.b. instead of 1/2 cup of the butter. Next time I will do a full cup, but this recipe turned out awesome! I have only tried monster cookies once, and they spread all over the pan and weren't like cookies at all. This turned out super!

Wake-Up Casserole
