About this Cook
I am a 65 year old Texas gal That loves being a homebody . Love to cook and spend most of my time with my grand and great grand children. I'm teaching them to cook also. From the 25 yr old grandaughter to the 3 yrs grandaughter. Its great fun.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to do is bake. I have been trying to convert all my recipes to sugar free and low fat its a new way of life and a real enjoyabe challange.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Of course being a good Texas gal my favorite is grilled or smoked anything. I also love to bake cookies. Trying new recipes is one of my favorite past times.
My cooking triumphs
I am a great cookie baker and come Christmas its cookie time and one year I baked 144 dozen cookies. For a friend a dear friend.
My cooking tragedies
My worst problem is that I get to much going at one time and at times I burn things. On those nights its time to eat out.

Broiled Grouper Parmesan
Since I dicovered this recipe we have it once a week. I use flounder or snapper files instead whole fish because it is more readly avaible in this area. I also use light mayo and use smart balance butter to keep it lighter and more healthy.

Baked Flounder
I am always looking for a good baked fish dish and this one hit the spot. It's tasty, has texture, and is healthy. But most imporant my husband raved about it. And I consider it one of the most easy dishes I've made in a while. It takes less than 30 min, Thanks to who ever came up with this meal. Jeanna in TX

Eric's Baked Chicken
I don't know who Eric is but Thanks this is a great recipe and will become one of our weekly meals. I replaced some of the butter with olive oil and one of those heart healthy spreads and fat free ranch dressing and it was super. I take this to pot lucks and ect. Thanks again
