Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Awesome! Just what the Doc ordered for a cold fall Minnesota day! My hubby actually made it after I printed the recipe (he doesn't cook) but I was going to be out & about. It's easy & delicious. He was so proud of himself. And the kids loved it too

Northwest Steakhouse Steak Marinade

Very easy & Delicious. My hubby loved it and so did the kids. I had some mediocre cuts that was given to us. I really wasn't looking foward to even wasting my time cooking them. But this marinade made it all worthwhile. No leftovers. Also poured remaining marinade over some pre made burgers I had to cook up. Made them 100 x better than just the plain burger.

Chicken Quesadillas

I don't normally like Quesadillas. I was not even going to try them. But as I was preparing them they looked and smelled good. While cooking it got to me. The kids loved them, the hubby loved them & I loved them. Made them 2 nights in a row they were that good

Jam Kolaches

I was scared when I first tried the dough. It tasted like a really bad shortbread & I don't like shortbread. But after baking, these were delicious. made them for Christmas cookies. Have made them 3 times since in a week. very good. Also try with nut filling also on this site.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Very Delicious. Superb. Compliments all the time. I never liked apple pie. made this for the family. Now I love THIS apple pie. It is always asked for, so delicious and SO EASY to make. Thank you so much for sharing! I added a dash of cinnamon and did not use all 8 apples.

These were SO GOOD! I made them for Thanksgiving "appetizers". only one person said they would try it. 5 people raved and asked not only for leftovers but the recipe as well. The stuffing is superb and I will make to stuff other things as well.

Cinnamon-Apple Chex® Mix

Awesome. Perfect for Turkey Day or any fall event. Very different from traditional chex. Couldn't find just dried apples. So I used a dried fruit ix that had apples AND Cranberries. Cranberries are a must in this.

I added more seasoning & some long grain & wild rice to it. It was very good, but not "the one". Very easy basic recipe to adjust and add things too. Maybe apples? cranberries?

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Very chocolaty! Very good. nice and soft & chewy. But I had a problem with the batter being so thick I couldn't mix in the chips. Had to add a little bit of oil & water. Also, they were very good, but something seemed to be missing.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

This was a really good cookie. However not very chewy. Which is fine because I like mine more crunchy. but the family likes chewy and were not so please. Could be instead of making big cookies I made them into smaller (About 36 total) did bake for less as well due to smaller size.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

This was so awesome! I bought green onion for this specifically, but in a rush grabbed a sweet onoin. It was great. Also added black beans on top of the sourcream layer. It was awesome, got rave reviews and now I make it all the time. THANKS!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

I made a double batch. I got rave reviews from EVERYONE. Heated the left overs the next day... Even better. Did only make with about half the spices though and it still had a good "after tingle". Perfect for kids. Did add red kidney beans & black beans as well as chili beans.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

This was very good. However I'm not sure what I did wrong so this is probably user error on my part but they looked nothing like the picture. They did not raise at all and were very thin & kind of crispy & chewy. But they smelled very good while baking so I had to try them. We ate them all. Maybe next time double the filling part?

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This is delicious. Followed to a T. VERY Moist. My family loves cornbread but no mater how or what I make it falls apart, not this one. Very good as is witha touch of sweet. I like mine a little sweeter next maybe add a little more sugar. But this was fabulous and is the one I will be making from now on. Thanks for sharing!
