I'm 66 year old widow - living a very active life with 8 grandchildren, I pet sit for a variety of clients, one of which has 2 6' iguanas in an enclosed gazebo with 15 cockatiels, a guinea pig. I thoroughly enjoy my "babies" and the people they own. A very satisfying 2nd career after retiring from the medical field. Grilled seafood of any kind (except squid, etc) I like using the slow cooker, or making things which can all go in the oven at various timesand come out finished at the same time. My mom taught me to cook, so all holidays are ham or turkey (or both), pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce - I started making my own a few years ago, but the best tradition was cooking along side mom, I taught my 3 boys and 1 girl to cook from age 4, and my daughter is continuing with her boys. My best triumph was a Croqembouche Spending all day cooking a duck, just so, with orange sauce, having the family sit down, hubby takes one bite and says "you'd better order a pizza". I never made duck again.
