I lived on a farm in Bremen Germany, English has always been spoken and taught in my home. Both my parents are teachers and have always wanted us to come to the U.S. Needless to say living on a farm I went to school and did chores on the farm. My parents spewed education not cooking, so I have very few. My father was the cook in the family and he made wonderful sausage dishes. The holidays. Father always made a duck or goose with a fruit sauce, whatever he decided to use at that time was when he would let us children help. Spice cookies. Many Many Many, I have been married almost seven years now and we lived with my parents while he was a US soldier and I went to school, so father cooked. Now that we are in the United States we have to learn to cook.
