Can I give this 10 stars? First try, and it was a HUGE hit at a party!!!!!!! If you give this less than 5 stars because you think it is chocolate overload or too rich, then you obviously didn't read the title! I made the filling just as instructed, using Ghiradelli. I wouldn't double the crust as others suggested. I added an extra 5 oreos and another tablespoon of butter. I only pressed it up the side of the pan about an inch and the thickness was perfect all around. This will be my new solution to the question "Can you bring a dessert?"

FAB!!!! I sliced peppers in half and laid on sides - FAR easier than stuffing them whole, and meat stayed nicely mounded on top. I had enough meat left to also stuff some extra green peppers. I did have to make another batch of sauce for these though, since I used all the sauce on the 8 banana peppers/16 halves. I did not boil anything prior to stuffing and still turned out great. A definite keeper, and a nice change from the everyday rotation!!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! There is a reason this is a 5 star recipe!!!!!! I used half oil and half applesauce only because I ran out of oil and was determined to make these at that very moment. Will be making double batches from now on and will be making these OFTEN!
