About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
Well about the only tragedy I can think of was when I was 13, I had never made condensed soup before and a boy was over that I really liked, he had just had his appendix takin' out and could only eat soup. So I tried to make him feel better by making a can of Cream Of Mushroom Soup. I didn't know you where supposed to add water to it, I cooked it and brought it to him. He ate it all and said it was good. I found out later that it was disgusting, but he wanted to make me happy and lied. I married that boy and we've been together for 10 years, I've since made up for the unwatered soup I made him years ago.

Pumpkin Seeds with Cinnamon and Salt
Not bad. I didn't use the oil, just some tin foil, they did stick a little but wasn't hard to scrape off. I also soaked the seeds in water over night before baking. The only cinnamon I had was cinnamon and sugar combined but was good anyway. Next time I will use more! I did put a lot of salt 'cause my husbands a salt freak. They came outta the oven 5 minutes ago and they're gone already!

Buttermilk Pancakes I
Darn good. I made a few changes; I doubled the recipe, used 1/2 brown sugar and half white, and about a Tablespoon of Vanilla. I don't have a blender so i mixed dry ingredients in a large bowl and wet ingredients in a separate bowl then mixed them together. Other people said they didn't bubble when ready to turn, but I had put batter in the fridge or 5 minutes and didn't stir before pouring into pan and they bubbled just fine.

Funnel Cakes I
I had a craving for funnel cake and found this recipe. Unfortunately, I didn't have any baking powder so I decided to use self rising flour since flour, baking powder and salt= SRF. I added some sugar to the batter and topped with cinnamon and sugar. It was very good. I'm sure it was because of the self rising flour but it didn't get "puffy" like it should have. Oh well, it still tasted like the real thing.
