I just graduated from The Creative Circus, an advertising school in Atlanta. I went to the University of GA before that, and I just accepted an advertising writing job in Chicago, so I'll be moving there in a week. I love cooking, of course, and my other passions are art, writing, dance, reading, swimming, and fashion. Anything involving pasta or Italian flavors; my mom's lasagna; and my boyfriend loves my balsamic-borwn sugar reduction over my spicy herbed chicken breast. My family always eats out! My mom cooked when we were little, though, and she makes the most incredible spaghetti sauce. She also taught me to make some delicious vegetarian patties, and my grandfather taught me everything I know about macaroni and cheese. Getting my boyfriend/ best friend to eat everything I make! I'm fearless in the kitchen, and my friends and family support my constant experimentation. My boyfriend and I set his apartment porch on fire by accident when we were attempting to grill steaks. We burned a hole in the porch floor, and the ashes fell to the person's porch underneath and burned through his neighbor's patio furniture! It was a costly and dangerous mishap. We keep steaks indoors these days.
