Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies
About this Cook
Stay at home mom to 3 kids.
My favorite things to cook
Slow cooker recipes and anything on the grill. I love making any type of desserts as well
My favorite family cooking traditions
None really come to mind. I love when my kids want to help me in the kitchen....we have lots of fun.
My cooking triumphs
Any meal that I fix that my family loves is a triumph in my book.
My cooking tragedies
About 10 years ago, I sent a pan of rice krispie treats to pre-school for my son's snack day. I did not pre-cut them....I was crunched for time, plus I knew the teacher would not mind. I was SHOCKED when over half of the pan was returned to me!! (there were usually no leftovers, this was our standard snack) I have NO idea what happened.....when I tried to cut the remaining treats at home, it was like chiseling brick!! I was SO embarrassed.

Baked Potato Soup
This was the best potato soup! A friend gave me a similar recipe, but this by far blows it away. Great flavor...absolutely 5 stars! I doubled the recipe and added about 2 TBS more flour. Whole family loved it. This will definately go into our monthly rotation. Thanks Kristi : )

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes
These are incredible Shirley! Thanks for sharing : ) I don't buy baking mix, so I made my own and added a splash more milk. My new favorite pancake!!

Sarah's Applesauce
YUM!! I've never attempted to make my own applesauce before, but we were without, and my four year old was unhappy. I used 3 organic gala and 3 organic granny smith, 1 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of sugar. It was a little sweet, but had the BEST flavor. Thanks for the recipe.....we can't go back to store bought now : )
