About this Cook
I am a 26 year old who has been cooking for about a year and a half. I love to cook and enjoy learning new recipes that are affordable. My boyfriend is in medical school and I am also a student so we have to budget :)
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking with vegetables. I try to be as healthy as I can. I also use a lot of chicken because it is always on sale!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking with my family. My brother went to culinary school so he is always giving me tips! I am envious of how awesome he is in the kitchen!! :)
My cooking triumphs
I can make perfect grilled cheese, awesome baked macaroni and cheese, and a great tortilla soup!!
My cooking tragedies
Grilled cheese ended up on the wall before! Hey you gotta start somewhere!!

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies
These cookies turned out awful. The flavor was good but they crumbled in your hands before you could eat them. I was surprised because it got good reviews. Too bad, I love oatmeal butterscotch.

Honey Rosemary Chicken Kabobs
I think that these flavors did not taste great together at all. I thought it was pretty bad but my fiance thought it was okay so I will give it three stars. I won't be making this again...Sorry maybe someone else will enjoy it!

Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad
This salad is delicious! I found a way to keep your pecans on the chicken. I pounded the pecans so that they crumbled more. This helped them adhere much better. Only a few fell off from the bottom when baking. Also definately use basalmic vinegar dressing-the flavor is awesome with all the other ingrediants!!Hope this helps!!
