About this Cook
I'm a college student...
My favorite things to cook
My specialty: eclectic cookies, but I also love to make stir fry, bread, and anything new and interesting.
My favorite family cooking traditions
All things Thanksgiving, and of course summer grilling.
My cooking triumphs
Pumpkin cheesecake last Thanksgiving - it was FLAWLESS.
My cooking tragedies
Well it wasn't just me, but my Mom and I attempted making brownies when I was little and they came out of the oven as a boiling liquid. Fabulous.

English Muffin Bread
This was wonderful warm! I probably shouldn't 'rate' the recipe, as I changed a lot of it... but it is highly recommended as such. I used 4 cups whole wheat flour and 2 cups all-purpose, added a cup of raisins and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, and added an extra 1/2 cup of water. Yum!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies
These are quite good! I was out of baking powder and butter so I used 1 1/4 tsp of baking soda, 1/3 cup molasses, and 1/3 cup grapeseed oil. I also used almond extract instead of vanilla, and made chocolate frosting (because everything is even better with chocolate, right?). Wonderful!
