Homesteader Cornbread
Look no further for a cornbread recipe. The is the best I have tried. I stuffed my Thanksgiving turkey with it and we also enjoyed the cornbread with chili. Excellent!

Garlic Stuffed Roast
This was certainly a tasty recipe, however, I think next time I would use a less tender cut of meat such as rump or chuck. Indeed the sirloin roast fell apart, but I am not fond of the stringy texture it had. I like to slice my pot roast, not peel it! This would be better for a cheaper cut of meat. I also browned my roast first and added small potatoes, onion, and some whole fresh mushrooms to the baking bag.

Pineapple Cinnamon Stuffed Acorn Squash
Sheesh, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg for one squash is enough to choke a horse! I cut this down to a half teaspoon of cinnamon and just a pinch of the other spices and that was MORE than enough seasoning. Even after adjusting seasoning it was just okay.
