About this Cook
i'm a Turkish lady of 26 years old now and living in Turkey.im married with the cuttiest man that my eyes have ever seen whom also loves eating so much.i have been cooking nearly for 9 years.i have not educated on cooking. i've got my all knownledge from tv programs and cookbooks(and now allrecipes). To watch people eating my food heartily and to be appreciated makes me feel so good.Trying new recipices is so exciting and joyful.Of course im not always successful but still learning.Cooking is a passion for me and there isnt another feeling like that i can compare with. Our cuisine is so rich.My wish is the world to know turkish cuisine and taste our delicious foods.Cooking is an art..
My favorite things to cook
i love cooking all sort of foods. But american cuisne is more special for me.The reason is my sweet American friend,Chana who supports and encourages me all the time about cooking.she has also helped me much to improve.my indispensables in the kitchen are spices and garlic.
My favorite family cooking traditions
many of turkish meals include tomato paste and olive oil.eids are so spacial, preparing our traditional foods and eating together is really great.
My cooking triumphs
i like to be free in the kitchen but unfortunately my dady doesnt eat most of the vegetables. His manner limits me in deed when im cooking.generally i prepare a separate dinner for him and i must confess that i managed to get him to eat some of the vegatables he refuses even to taste :)) im good at making chicken, pasta, pizzas, cookies, deserts, soups, and frying
My cooking tragedies
i burned the meal with soucepan for a few times when i first started cooking. And when i was 11-12 years old, trying to make a cake used to end up with a disaster. Each time i used to burn the cake and never allow my mom to see it.i used to give it to my dog to eat..i think i was a cruel child :p
