Creamy Saffron Shrimp with Gnocchi and Caramelized Onion
I wanted to like this more, but I found the paprika overpowering, but not in a flavorful way. Maybe the paprika I used was too old, so if I try this again, I would use a little or none, and substitute something a little spicier in its place.

Tomato-Curry Lentil Stew
This is a fantastic recipe that is filling and healthy and affordable. I tripled the recipe and made adjustments according to what I had available, and it came out delicious. The changes I made: Green pepper instead of celery; added one white potato, cubed; and added 1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper for a little bit of a kick.

Buttery Soft Pretzels
These are amazing! Everyone I make them for always request that I make them again. The only change I made is to replace oil with butter and to baste the dough in butter before adding the salt and baking.
