Baby Blue punch
About this Cook
I am a proud mother of one smart loving son. I am also a single mother with abudget for creative cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Home made cakes (from scratch!) Themed cakes. Good comfort winter meals. Themed meals (Italian , mexican) I love christmas cooking and hoiliday cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Grandma's stuffing. Aunt susies home mad apple pie (no one can make it like she can!) I love bringing something different than tradition holiday dishes to spice up the holidays whether it is desert or appetiters Its a hit every time.
My cooking triumphs
No leftovers is s ign of GOOD COOKING! Examples : Fruit salsa with homemade cinnomon chips, Baby Blue punch (Pic above) I had to refill it like 4 times before my friend open the gifts! Kid friendly chicken pot pies and all my homemade themed cakes for his birthday!
My cooking tragedies
LOL My mom gently reminds A LOT of the creme puff incident I was 10 and not paying attention to what I was doing and they were egg puffs! Bought wrong ingredients for pumpkin turnover that actually didnt go too bad it turned into layer fillo dough pumkin cake thingy it was rich tasting but still good!

Easy Pumpkin Turnovers
The recipies for begginers should have been more DELTAILED. The pasty should have a brand name example I bought the wrong dough! (Fillo dough) The "CAN" of pumpkin? What size? In MY grocery stores I have 3 sizes of cans for pumkin filling. The family said it what still good but WAY too rich.I had to figure out how to use the fillo dough so I just layered it. I just try something different next year for Thanksgiving.

Summer Grilled Cabbage
Isnt cabbage on the grill awesome! But I use just foil and wrap wedges indivuallly there is no mess and each serving can be customed if you have different tastes in the family like I do! That way you dont have to ruin a baking dish. Also reyonld wrap has the "foil bags" you can use if you are doing a large order!

Grilled Cabbage II
This is funny I had basically the same grilled cabbage I concocked last summer! I used papricka, pepper salt and a Mrs. Dash for spices than i used green red yellow and orange pepper with butter in the cabbage wedges. You can use little or as much different additives as you want a very flexible recipe!
