Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
these are really yummy and super easy. Although the peanut butter layer was still gooey after chilling them in the fridge for an hour, so I moved them to the freezer and that helped. I took someone elses suggestion of chilling the peanut butter layer for a few minutes before adding the chocolate layer and had no problems with the chocolate melting through. YUM!

this was really good. I liked that it was easy to prepare and made a nice simple, not too fancy galze for the pork loin.

Homemade Tomato Sauce I

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
This is a nice sauce. I doubled it and added mushrooms as well as more olive oil. It does need the tomato paste and for a doubled recipes I used a regular size can of paste. It's very hearty and has a nice flavor! The picture makes it look far less chunky than it actually is. If you want a smooth sauce, you should def. puree or food process your veggies!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
These are tasty! Just what I was wanting to make. I did add chopped walnuts, cinnamon and vanilla as someone else suggested! That was a great idea. I only had two bananas, so that's what I used and it worked out well. Don't over stir ingredients. I only baked for 18-20 minutes and it was plenty of time!

Mexican Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
This was quick, easy and tasted great! I added onions and used green pepper instead b/c that's what I had on hand. I also topped with a little cheese during the last few minutes. I served over rice and topped with a dollop of sour cream! We really enjoyed it. I will certainly make this again!

Asian Coleslaw Light

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
this recipe is fantastic! I would have given it 5 stars, but I made some changes. Don't do anything to the ramen other than break it up and mix it in. Plus I put in almonds and sunflower seeds, which was good, and I increased the sugar, olive oil, and vingar to 4 Tbs. It turned out fantastic and I got a ton of compliments on it. My husband has been talking about it constantly. plus, it's light and a great side to almost any cuisine!

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Can I give it ten stars? This pumpkin bread is delicious!!! I did use nuts and I added raisins, which made it so tasty! It made 9 mini loaves, about 3"x6" aluminum loaf pans. You will need to cut the bake time down a little. Try this recipe! Oh, also, I used fresh pumpkin!

Potato Bacon Chowder

This potato soup is so good! It was easier than most other recipes and tastes better! The taste of the creamy sauce is so good I kept going back in the kitchen for "little tastes" while it was simmering.

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
This is a good recipe, although I think the 40 minutes of bake time was too long. The crust/crumble on the bottom got over cooked and was a little hard. I will make this again, but next time I will cook it for a shorter amount of time...watching it and checking for doneness.

Southwest Chicken Salad II

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
this was really good! You can use any kind of tortilla chips you have on hand. I also seasoned my chicken as some others said they did. I sliced the raw chicken and cooked it in a little olive oil and Pampered Chef southwest seasoning mix. Very tasty! I served it with the chicken and beans hot for dinner and took it for lunch the next day and ate it with the chicken and beans cold. Great both ways.
