Since marrying my husband, I have really blossomed as a cook. I love to try new recipes and I have found that I can't leave a recipe alone...I always add something or change something ot make it a little more my own. I love to make comfort food. I always make candy at Christmas. Hay stacks, chocolate covered pretzels, white chocolate ritz. It's something my mother always did with us as kids, and it's so important to me to continue that. It's not Christmas without the homemade candy! After many months of cooking and changing ingredients and adding small touches, I have PERFECTED my made from scratch Chicken Pot Pie! It is perfect and my husband requests it all the time.
