About this Cook
Work all the time and don't have as much time to cook as I'd like.
My favorite things to cook
Something new!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma use to air mail a home made Chocolate bundt tunnel of fudge cake to my Dad when he was in Vietnam and he'd be the most popular guy on the base when that arrived! I asked her to teach me how to make it and now it's a must at all my family functions.
My cooking tragedies
I could not get a Martha Stewart Apple tart recipe to work. I tried 3 times and got frustrated. It would not come out of the pan!

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding
pretty tasty - but I did have to arrange the apples and bread in the pan or else you get all the bread on one side and the apples on the other. It was easy just to place them in the baking dish.

Super Al's Cocktail Sauce
This beats the cocktail sauce I get in some of those fish houses! I used the fresh grated horseradish and fresh squeezed lemon. The best ingredients make the best food.
