A mother of 5 that's counting 3 sons, 1 cat, and 1 husband. I have twins that turn 18 this year. My youngest will be 15 soon. I am a military wife. My husband retires this next year. I am going to school for Nuclear Medicine.
I have lived all over the world. In places that most people pay to go vacationing to. My mother was in the Army and my father In-law was in the Air Force. We are all Texan's. Between both families we have over 50 family members in Texas. Maybe even more then that. We live close enough to the family this time to visit. The first time in 16 years. Our families both cook up a storm. My husband is a natural baker. I like to cook meals rather then bake. My three sons love to cook too. We taught them at them at the age of 10 to start to cook. My oldest by a minute wants to be a professional chef. I love to socialize (talk).
My favorite things to cook
breakfast burrito, Shepherd pie, butter fish, currywurst, lumpia, teriyaki beef and chicken kabobs, italian sea food pasta, and egg drop soup. We have lived all over the world. We like to many different types of dishes. My kids are pick compared to My husband and myself.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Candy and cookie making with my mom when I was growing up for birthday and christmas gifts. Getting up in the morning on Sundays and going to church and then coming home to make brunch
My cooking triumphs
Baking anything is eatable. (cake, pie, fruit, pudding, ice cream, etc.)
My cooking tragedies
When my cake for a function that I had made turn out a little lop sided.
