Acorn Squash
For microwaving acorn squash - put the whote squash in microwave for 2 minutes on high. Take out and puncture a few sets of holes around stem on top with fork. Put back in microwave on high for 10 minutes, take out and wrap with aluminum foil until cooled. The seeds will come right out and you can easily scoop the meat from inside, it will fall away from the skin. Then do anything you want with it, it's like pureed squash.

Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast
I used in crock pot with an 8-lb whole turkey breast instead. I changed the apple jelly to apple butter (or applesauce would be good), skipped the Dijon, horseradish and bouillion and used more garlic plus added sage to the recipe and put some in bottom and the rest on top. Cooked it for 2 hours on high and 6 hours on low. It was FABULOUS! thanks so much!
