Grain and Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes
With no white flour, I expected these pancakes to be heavy but the oatmeal keeps them light and moist. I also used freshly ground, hard red wheat and they were amazing!

Buttery Corn Bread
I would rename this recipe "Cornbread Cake." If you're looking for a light, sweet bread then this is for you but I prefer a heartier cornbread.

Boston Baked Beans
I was in a hurry and had to use canned pinto beans instead and it was great! I cooked the bacon and onions together in one pan and made the sauce in another. I rinsed and drained the pinto beans, mixed them with the bacon, onions and sauce and it tasted great!
