Spicy Brussels Sprouts and Carrots
YUM! Never thought I'd say that about the infamous brussels sprouts! This was actually my first time eating them (that I remember). I bought some from my farmers market on the reccomendation of a friend. So I'm sure I had the best of the best :) I didn't have horseradish and wasn't about to buy a jar for a recipe. So I used a packet of "Zesty" sauce from Burger King, lol (used for their onion rings). Maybe that tip will help someone else out who dosn't have horseradish laying around :) I'm going to make this again - I hope the frozen brussels sprouts won't be a dissapointment.

Whole Wheat Honey Bread
This is my favorite WW bread so far. I've only been making bread for >90 days. Now I am experimenting with rising it in the pan and baking it instead of baking it in my bread machine. MY MINOR CHANGES: I, too, use 1/8c. milk and 1c. water... I use butter instead of oil and I add 3T of gluten and try to use local honey - that tastes the best. I LOVE the trick to melt the butter in the 1/3c. measurement and then use the "greased" cup when measuring my honey...works better with oil, but butter tastes better so that's what I'm going to use :) I bake on "1.5 lb. white, light crust" setting when I use my bread maker. Thank you MelH for posting this delicious recipe!

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes
My kids have been eating two to four 1/4 c. sized pancakes for breakfast for the past 2 months, about 5 times a week. I like that they start the day with some veggies. They take a long time to cook, but I transfer them to a cooling rack when they come off the griddle so they stay a little crispy, then I freeze them and they pull out what they want to toast in the morning.
