Peppercorn-Seasoned Steaks with Mustard-Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Excellent steak recipe! One of the best from allrecipes! The mustard wine sauce mixture is fantastic! May I suggest the addition of a teaspoon of olive oil as you add in the butter in the mustard wine sauce to thicken the sauce. I will definitely do this recipe again!

Pork Tenderloin with Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
Excellent pork recipe and it was so simple to make! Great combination of ingredients to make this a tasty dish! I thought the sauce was going to thicken or become a glaze but it didn't. I may add a teaspoon of flour to thicken the sauce but the sauce was fine as it was. I served this dish with Cajun deviled eggs, curried orange rice and honey ginger carrots! Yummy!

Colorful Fried Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This is a good rice recipe! I followed the instructions and prescribed amounts for each ingredient and it turned out nice! However, the amount of soy sauce should be reduced by half. I served this side-dish with caramelized baked chicken and stir-fried peppers and it was a good combination!

Garlic-Pepper Tenderloin Steaks

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
Excellent steak recipe for those who like it spicy like me! For those who aren’t tuned in into spicy foods, I recommend that you simply not include chilli powder in the mix. Other than that, I followed the instructions and added the right amounts for each ingredient and it turned out great! I accompanied this spicy steak dish with steamed broccoli covered in a three-cheese sauce, mashed potatoes with fried mushroom, bacon and onion and a bottle of Malbec wine. Wow! Great combination!

Citrus Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
Great chicken dish! Very tasty! I followed the instructions and prescribed amounts for each ingredient and it turned out fabulous! The combination of ginger, green onion, etc is perfect. Perhaps we could sun-dried tomatoes as an option but the recipe is great as it is. I served this great dish with penne a la vodka sauce II and wow, it turned out great!

Flank Steak with Garlic Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
Great steak recipe! Very tasty! I used minced garlic rather than using head garlic and it turned out very well. I accompanied this dish with scalloped potatoes in a broccoli and cheese sauce along with a stir fry of green peppers and red onions with Asiago-toasted cheese puffs as an appetizer. Great combination! Great steak dish!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
Wow! One of the best chicken recipes on this site! This dish is a real stunner! Who would have thought that adding Ranch dressing on top of teriyaki would taste so great on chicken? But it did! The combination of crumbled chicken, cheddar and green onions is great! I served this tasty dish with curried orange chicken, red rice and a stir fry of peppers along with a nice bottle of Chardonnay! Great combination, great chicken dish!

Southwestern Rice

Great tasting rice! The combination of ingredients is fantastic including the cumin, turmeric, which added the lovely yellow color to the rice, and the black beans! I served it with the anniversary chicken and honey glazed carrots along with a bottle of Chardonnay. Great combination, great meal, great rice recipe!

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
This is an excellent chicken dish. I added extra thyme and paprika and it turned out great. Instead of cutting up chicken in pieces, I simply used chicken breasts. Since I like my food spicy, may I suggest that we add 1/2 teaspoon of either cayenne or chili to the mix but this spice mixture is perfect as it is. I served this great dish with 'Mexican rice II' and a side-dish of yellow, orange and red peppers in an Asian sauce and as recommended, a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. What a great combination!

Mexican Rice II

Excellent rice dish! I followed the instructions and it came out delicious! I did add a bit more cumin than instructed since I love the taste of it. I served this dish with the 'oven fried chicken III', a side-dish of yellow, orange and red peppers marinated in an Asian sauce and with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc as suggested! It turned out to be a great meal.

Pork with Mushroom Dijon Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
This is a stunning, very tasty, restaurant quality pork recipe! Truly a 5 star rating! I added a bit more Dijon mustard and it turned out great! My girlfriend was raving about this dish and so was I! The mushroom Dijon sauce is unbelievable and it suits perfectly pork tenderloin. I accompanied this dish with Dijon mashed potatoes and Cajun deviled eggs, also with Dijon as an ingredient, as an appetizer, along with the juicy tomatoes fried in basil and thyme! DELICIOUS!! I will definitely make this dish again!

Deluxe Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
Great potato recipe! Adding paprika and cooking the mashed potatoes in the oven added more flavor, if that was possible, to this delicious potato recipe. Adding green onions or bacon bits might add more flavor but the ingredients for this dish are fine as they are.

Maria's Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
Stunning steak recipe. Very tasty! I never thought soy sauce, honey and red wine vinegar would make such a great combination!! I followed the instructions as suggested by Maria and it turned out perfect! If you want to make it spicy, as I like it, adding yellow banana peppers might do the trick but this recipe is fine as it is! I ate this wonderful dish with the 'deluxe mashed potatoes' recipe along with 'honey ginger carrots' and it turned to be a great meal. Of course, adding a bottle of Perez Cruz Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile made the meal even more delicious! Cudos to Maria for submitted this recipe!

Spanish Rice I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
Great tasting rice! I followed the instructions regarding the amounts for each ingredient and it turned out perfectly! Rather than using instant rice, which I didn't have, I used par-broiled rice and instead of tomato juice, I used spicy clamato juice, which was a great substitute. May I suggest, as optional ingredients, thyme (1/2 teaspoon for a serving of 4) and a couple of hot green peppers from Turkey for an extra kick to the taste. Not that it needed it but still, for lovers of spicy dishes, those two ingredients could add some zip to this wonderful dish!

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
WOW!! Yummy!! Rather than putting the pork tenderloin uncut in the oven, I cut it up about 3/4 of an inch in thickness and poured the marinade over the pork tenderloin medallions. The mustard sauce is stunning! I added an extra 1/2 teaspoon of mustard powder for an extra kick in the flavor and it turned out great. I served it with the 'Spanish rice I' recipe and it turned out to be a great combination. Of course, have a nice bottle of Chardonnay made the meal even more enjoyable! Great pic by Roxie of the pork tenderloin!

Chinese Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Excellent pork recipe! Very tasty! The combination of soya sauce, hoisin sauce, Chinese 5-spice, etc. is excellent and very tasty! May I suggest that you serve this excellent dish with rice (lemon-spiced) and a side-dish of stir-fried veggies (e.g. green and red peppers and red onions in an Asian sauce). An absolute winner! I will definitely make this tasty pork dish again!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2008
This is a very tasty chicken recipe. I followed the proportion for each ingredient as instructed and the honey mustard marinade turned out great. However, instead of grilling the chicken on the BBQ, I cooked the chicken in the oven for 40 minutes at 400 degrees in a 9' by 13' pan. Safe to say, the chicken turned out great. I will definitely make this recipe again.
