About this Cook
I am 29, married with three kids all girls. My oldest is three, next one is two and third one is only 8 months. I really like cooking, but especially like baking ( big sweet tooth), also enjoy making bread I have discovered.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are definitly desserts but I also enjoy cooking big dinners with all of the extras.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom wasn't a big cook. We ate out a lot so I am trying to start some traditions for my girls.
My cooking triumphs
Making yeast breads sucessfully was definitly a triumph for me, and just this past year cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner all by myself and it was GOOD!
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married we had my brother over for dinner I made stirfry. I did not have any experience with corn starch yet and knew that it thickened things but that was it. My sauce was too runny so i thought I 'd just throw in some corn starch and it would be fine. Weeeelllll... it never thickened so i kept adding more and more. Finally I decided it just was gonna have to do couldn't keep waiting for it to thicken up so i served and yeah, it was really horrible and gross. No one ate much... At least it was only my husband and brother though!

Jalapeno Popper Spread
Loved it. Used extra jalepenos to make it extra spicy.

Lemon Pudding Poke Cake
Very good, but I did add to it which I think made it better. I used a yellow cake mix made following the directions on the box and added 1 tsp lemon extract, did the poke and pudding thing after taking it out of the oven, but with the remaining pudding I mixed half a container of cool whip in and used that to frost the cake. It was great.
