Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

I was so afraid to try this recipe b/c of previous failures wiht store bought pizza dough. However, this came out amazing!! My new Sunday night dinner is definitely going to be pizza using this crust from now on.

You NEED to use a food processor to get the dough to the right consistancy. The end product is really yummy but very salty!!

This pasta was very good. I added chopped up fresh spinach along with the parsley in an attemp to make it healthier. Next time I will put more parm than what is called for.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

This is a great soup! I cooked the chicken in the broth with onions and a reduced sodium taco seasoning packet in my slow cooker overnight. I added the rest of the ingredients (corn & red kidney beans)the next day and simmered the soup for about 30 minutes. I garnished it with shredded cheddar, a dollop of sourcream and fresh chopped tomatoes. Very very good!

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

These cookies are amazing! I did not have white sugar so I used raw sugar instead and they came out fine. Next time I am going to see if they come out good using unbleached or whole wheat flour.

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

The taste of this cheesecake turned out amazing! However, I had to bake it a lot longer than the recipe said and it was still soft in the middle when we ate it. Also, all the cookie crumb crust stuck to the bottom of the springform pan. Even though the cheesecake was delicious I do not think I will go through all the trouble to make it again.

Shepherd's Pie VI

I love Shepherds Pie and this recipe was just as good as any I have had before. I made it per the directions except I used 1 lb of ground bison instead of ground beef. The meat could have used more salt and after reading the comments I would def add the worsteshire sauce to help with that. The potatoes were a little dry and next time I will mash them with more butter and milk in them. I love the idea of the carrot layer and next time I will add some peas to it. Thanks for the recipe!

Black Bean Tortilla Casserole

I liked the flavor of this recipe but I did not enjoy the texture of the mushy tortillas. If there were some way the tortillas could come out crunchy I think I would like this much more. Like other reviewers I did not drain the tomatos. I also used a whole packaged of shredded mexican cheese and put out lettuce, tomatos and cilantro for toppings.

This recipe was alright. It came out way too spicy for my husband and I and we both love spicy foods. I actually had to add milk at the end to try and cut the spiciness.

Chicken in a Pot

This recipe was very easy to make. I followed the previous advice to double the sauce and the mushrooms. My husband thought it could have used more salt. My mother in law thought the sauce needed more substance. Next time I think I will add some spaghetti sauce or crushed tomatos to add some more bulk to the sauce. I will make this again for sure.

Cafeteria Macaroni and Cheese

This recipe was good but too greasy for me. If I make it again I will def. make it in a 9X13 dish (I used a round 2 qt dish) I will also omit some of the cheese and melt the cheese in teh milk mixture like suggested. It came out a little lumpy.I
