Curried Coconut Chicken

This was awesome! Made it exactly as stated and it tasted like something that came from a popular asian bistro near our house.

I let the frosting cool in the refrigerator and used this on cupcakes. It got rave reviews!

Cheeseburger Pasta

This was ok. I was neither impressed nor disappointed. I can see how kids would like it because the taste does resemble a cheeseburger.

Easy Chicken Fajita Soup

This was so good on a cool autumn day! Served it with tortilla chips and cheese and next time I will try a dollup of sour cream with it.

Warm Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
I thought this was great! Several people commented on how good it was. It was a little salty- I served it with sliced french bread that I lightly toasted so as not to add more salt that would be on the crackers. I also used 2 jars of artichokes because 1 definately wasn't enough.

Sweet Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
These were SO yummy! We could barely stop eating them. When I got them out while I had company, they lasted all of 5 minutes. I did use other's suggestions and used 1/2 cup brown and 1/2 cup white sugar, and instead of 2 tablespoons water I used 1, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. And every time I stirred them while they were baking (in a 9x13 cake pan) I had to wash the spoon off because I kept licking it :-)

Cherry Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
I liked this, but I took it to a party and barely any of it was eaten. I followed the recipe, except it took probably twice the tomatoes than what the recipe stated. This would also be good if you added pasta to make a pasta salad.

Creamy Lemon Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This was very good and easy! Took it to a gathering and every single piece was gone. It reminded me of key lime pie- I would imagine you could probably do this with lime juice too.

Pepperoni Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
These were pretty good! They were almost like mini pizzas- heavy on the mushroom of course! They were a little softer than I expected them to be, but someone else brought stuffed mushrooms to the same gathering and I'm pretty sure everybody liked mine better :-)

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
I loved this! It was a bit of a different twist on tuna salad. If you don't like curry that much, use only half- but I'd keep the other spices at the amounts the original recipe calls for. I didn't have the pickle relish so I took the pickles and finely chopped them.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
This stew was pretty good and I really liked the simplicity of it. My house smelled wonderful when I got home! I made it as the recipe states with the exception of the celery (because by the time I got to that part I realized I didn't have any). I would have changed, as one other reviewer recommended, the regular salt to seasoning salt. The only thing I was dissapointed in is the "gravy". I guess I was expecting more of an actual gravy like consistency. And I didn't cook it for any longer than 8 hours because by that time the meat was ready to fall apart.

Peach-a-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
I used frozen peach slices for this pie because fresh ones in Wisconsin in the middle of February are a little hard to come by! I made this pie to bring to a church luncheon and the only *delicious* taste I got of it was when I licked the bowl that I mixed the filling together in because by the time I got to my dessert at the luncheon, my pie was gone. That has to be a good sign, right?

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
These were so good! I made them for a gathering at my home and everybody went back for seconds and kept saying how good they were. I did not add the butter, I just didn't think it was necessary. The serving size said 12, but it made more than that- although it didn't use up all 3 crescent roll cans.

Chunky Applesauce

Loved Loved LOVED this! It was super easy and it had a little twist to the flavor that you don't get from "regular" apple sauce. I WILL make this again!

Apple Dumplings with Rich Cinnamon Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
This recipe was very good and quite easy to make and even though I liked the sauce, I felt it was missing....something. I thought maybe it wasn't thick enough so I added a little more cornstarch which didn't fix things. I did not slice the apples in half- instead I cored them and left them whole and it worked well. I used more nuts, about 1/2 cup, and 5 tablespoons of butter for the center of the apples.

Broccoli Sausage Breakfast Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
My husband needed to make something for a breakfast at a "guy's weekend" away, so I found this recipe. It was so easy for him to put together, and everybody raved about it- He had the other guys asking HIM for the recipe!
