Was born in 55 and spent all my early years until college in my home town. Got married young to the love of my life who I met in english class card line at Arizona State University. I have enjoyed cooking and eating food all my life but now that I am disabled I get to spend a lot of time at it. My wife likes that since she prefers not to cook unless it is a special occasion. This is a hard one. I love to bake bread, no bread machine for me, and I guess after baking comes italian and mexican foods though from my traveling around the world I do like a lot of other cuisines so I try to be creative as my disability allows. My wife, my two sons and I love to get together for any occasion and cook together with each of us doing some part of the meal. This tradition has continued even now that they are grown. My greatest triumph is in making something that people enjoy and enjoy it a lot. In that line though I make a killer fresh salsa that I adjust the heat to what people like or at least can tolerate. Once when trying a new mexican recipe for a favorite mexican dish I put a little to much chopped Habanero pepper into the sauce so that even I was not able to eat it. We ended up going and picking up a couple of pizzas that night.
