Beef Barley Stew
I'm giving this 5 stars because it is absolutely delicious. One of the best recipes I've tried in a long time. I used the ingredients as written, but adapted the methodology to make in the slow cooker. I coated the meat in flour, salt, and pepper and browner it on the stove. Then I added all ingredients except mushrooms, barley, and vinegar to the slow cooker and cooked on low for 6 hours. When there was 1 1/2 hrs left on the timer I added the barley and mushrooms. I added the vinegar at the very end as instructed. The sauce was a nice consistency and the flavor was fantastic. My husband, houseguests, and even our 1 yr old ate it up. Thanks for sharing.

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham
This glaze is delicious. The orange zest/juice give it a freshness that is above and beyond the typical honey glaze. A real stand out flavor that my family loved on our Christmas ham. Served it with Jamie's Cranberry Spinach salad from this site, using the orange flavored craisins, and Giada's Baked Mashed Potatoes. A simple yet delicious holiday meal.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins
These were easy to make and taste really good. They aren't too dense and heavy like many "healthy" muffin recipes. I used a really ripe banana, so the banana flavor dominated the blueberries. Might try canned pumpkin or applesause next time for a milder flavor.
