I am retired after many years in the food service industry. My family and friends have always been my inspiration for cooking. Comfort foods with a twist for more character. My first cherry pie. After what seemed liked hours of labor over my first pie, which looked absolutely delicious. I turned around and lost my footing and my pie slid off of the cookie sheet and ended up in a million pieces on the floor.
