About this Cook
Well there's not much to be said about me. I'm a sixteen year old girl. In addition to cooking, I love to hang out with my friends, chill around the house, procrastinate on assignments and shop! Much like every other teenager. I have two little sisters and a dog and a cat and I love them all.
My favorite things to cook
I looove to bake cookies. My favorites are sugar and ginger cookies but you'll be hard pressed to find any one I'd turn down. I also enjoy baking cakes and brownies and other desserts. Occasionally I'll dabble in cooking actual meals, but they just never satisfy as much.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition is during the weekend before Christmas when my mom and I get together with a bunch of my aunts and a few female cousins along with my grandmom and we just bake batch after batch of cookies. It's so much fun!
My cooking triumphs
I've brought cookies into school a few times this year, just for the heck of it, and ever since I've gotten tons of requests to bring in more of my "kickass cookies".
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to spice up this boring loaf of bread we were going to eat for dinner (I know, dumb right? Bread is bread!) and I ended up being the only person who ate it because I was too proud not too... and then I got sick. xD

Chocolate Mint Cookies I
These were flat out fantastic. I, like most everyone else, used half an Andes mint on each cookie and it turned out perfect. I also substituted the mint topping with leftover chocolate chips for my friends that don't like mint and they turned out great aswell. The thing I liked best about this cookie is that it tasted a lot like a Girlscout Thinmint, but soft and chewy!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
These cookies were absolutely amazing! I doubled the recipe and spread vanilla icing over half of them and they were fantastic with and without the additive. I brought a bunch into school aswell, and literally had people flying across the halls to get at, as everyone put it, "the kickass cookies". Plus they were still good a week after they'd been baked. I will definitely be making these again!
