Awesome Korean Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I would give this more stars if I could! I did follow one other reviewers suggestion and added a 1/4 of crushed kiwi to my marinade. The meat was so soft and tender it was incredible. Make sure you get chuck eye meat as it makes a huge difference as well. All in all solid 5 stars. I make steamed white rice with green onions, kimchi, and a ginger salad to compliment this dish.

Nice twist for fries. Eat them all though because they get soggy after a while. Make sure to salt them and get the water out of them b4 you cook them.

A great recipe. I make this and then make gravy from the drippings. A little mashed potatos and slow cooked green beans and it's dinner time.

This is wonderful and easy to make. I have made it numerous times now and its a wonderful "do all" dish. It makes a great side dish as well as a main course with a nice salad. Be careful though it's filling!

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

I give this a 5 even though I make this recipe with fillets cut to the same thickness as a chop. The balsamic reduction makes this dish so dont skimp! Use good vinegar...

Caramelized Onions on the Grill

This is wonderful and easy. It makes a great compliment to any steak or poultry dish you may be fixing. I often times will cook this in the oven at 400 degrees for about an hour. Make sure to take the foil out half way or so,stir it a little, and then return to oven.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
People fight over this at my place of work. Make sure that you test the cake with a knife before bringing it out. It wont really come out completely clean...that the nature of this doctor'ed cake recipe. I find that this recipe takes a little longer in the oven (well in my crappy oven anyway) Just wait til your knife comes out mostly clean and youll be happy.

This is reminiscent of my families recipe for strawberry shortcake. We used strawberry jam instead of the glaze but, I made this recipe following esxactly as it's written and it was awesome. Letting this recipe sit in the fridge is important!
