wonderful fall dessert. Made with tart apples from the orchard. Doubled the recipe and baked in a 9x13 dish. Served with vanilla ice cream. Everybody at our church group LOVED it! Thanks for the easy recipe.

Your really have to like vinegar to enjoy this potato salad. I have never had german potato salad before and perhaps my substitutions didnt cover the vinegar taste properly. I did use cider vinegar and green onions and had no celery seed. I also doubled the sauce as it was said by others it didnt have enough. Again, this could just be my error.

This syrup is too thin. Taste good but not the consistency I was looking for. May try again taking some of the others suggestions.
