Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker
YUM!! I brought this for Potluck at work today and it was a HUGE HIT! I did revise with the advice of others- my changes: I used 3 links of sausage, 3/4cup of brown sugar, ADDED: 1 small onion sliced long and Thin, 1med green pepper sliced long and Thin. 1/4cup lemon juice. Threw all in crock pot and cooked on high for 2 hours, then on low for 1 hr. called it “Kielbasa Luau”. Thanks!

BBQ Country Style Ribs
This recipe was AMAZING although I did change it up some. here are my changes -I used 'KC MAsterpiece marinade Caribbean Jerk' covered ribs w/marinade and let sit wrapped foil over night in frig. I used 2 sliced oranges with peel in the botton of crock pot, placed ribs over top with 1.5 cup marinade. let cook 3hrs on low. removed ribs from crock pot placed on cooking rack, GENEROUSLY cover ribs with marinade-bake at 200degress for 30 mins -this time in the oven will coat ribs and make more appealing for serving. Wonderful flavor with a mild hint of orange to the pork. YUM will make again!!

Cherry Pork Chops
I’m giving 4 stars because I didn’t follow this recipe/but created my own based on other postings. 6 thick chops on the bone. 2 cans of apple pie filling, 1/2c brown sugar, 1/4cup apple juice, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tbsp cinnamon, couple dashes of dried mustard. cooked on low in crock pot for 5hrs. It was a pleasant twist and comforting to the season. My husband liked it & that’s all I needed. I’ll make this version again:) thanks vb
