About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
The day I decide to bake a cheesecake. I couldn't figure out why the top was getting brown so fast. When it was done baking I looked at the stove when I turned it off and found out it was set for broil and not bake. I trimmed off the top of the cake and decided to see what it tasted like before I threw it out. My biggest tragedy turned out to be good, my boyfriend loved the cheesecake. Now it is a big habit for him to ask when I make a cheesecake, "Honey are you baking or broiling it."

Beef and Tomato Pie
This was a easy and a good tasting recipe. I added more ketchup than called for and added a drained can of corn. Next time I think I will try adding spag. sauce instead of ketchup and a drained can of mixed vegetables. My son enjoyed this and suggested that I try adding some taco seasoning to it the next time.

Texas Hash
My family really enjoyed this recipe. I added garlic and cut back on the onion when browning the ground beef. The only bad comment I got was next time make more cause there wasn't enough.
