I am a full time mom and portrait photographer. My husband travels with his job so I am home to raise the family. My family has always been about comfort foods. Certain holidays mean certain staples EVERY YEAR. Thanksgiving Dinner! I have certain foods that are a must at thanksgiving and most of them , I am the only one that knows how to prepare. I enjoy baking Christmas cookies with my children. They love decorating them but mostly they love eating mommy's mistakes. The only time I consider my cooking a triumph is when I am asked for a recipe or a certain dish is requested more then once. Christmas dinner 2000....my oven broke and we did not know until 2 hours later my potatoes were still cold!!!
