These cookies rocked! When you're craving chocolate chip cookies, this is the go-to recipe. I suggest using a fairly flat baking sheet; the cookies on my deeper pan needed about 5 minutes longer in the oven than the flat pan. These came out beautifully - crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle. Thank you for such an excellent recipe!

Good, not great. I think the amount of garlic was a bit much and I'm usually a big fan. The garlic and shallot need to be very finely minced. The final product is much improved by letting it sit in the fridge for several hours.

Really more like 4.5 stars, but let's not get too picky. I upped the garlic in this and dredged, rather than dipped the chicken in the oil/garlic mixture. I also spiced up the breading mixture with some red pepper flakes and pepper. My BF and son are extremely picky about chicken and both devoured this recipe. An excellent hearty dinner when served with a nice green salad and a side of pasta. Definitely going into the regular rotation.
