I love to cook. I grew up in a big Italian family where most of our happy memories revolved around the kitchen table. I love to bake and try new recipes. I am becoming a big fan of the slow cooker as well. Every year before Christmas, my sister and I get together and bake mass amounts of Christmas cookies. We are unable to get together very often these days so spending an entire day or two alone together laughing and reminiscing just makes our holidays complete. Plus the cookies make a nice gift for those that you want to give a 'little something' to. I once got a recipe online for 'Texas Roadhouse' rolls. They are so unbelievably good at the restaurant I figured I'd make a batch to surprise my husband ~ we certainly got a surprise when I took them out of the oven looking beautiful to find out they were like rocks and tasted like they had come from under a rock as well. GROSS!! They went right into the trash! If anyone has a recipe for the real thing that they would like to share, I would love to have it!!
