Hamburger Buns

tasted awesome! they didn't rise much before baking so they did not turn out as large as I had hopped. Also if you form "balls" like it says you will wind up with verry spherical buns. next time I will try making them more patty shaped so they will be bigger and fit the hamburgers better.

The Twenty Dollar Burger

verry flavour packed burger with a little kick. didn't have mustard, cilantro or chipoltle. I substituted parsley for the cilantro and added a pinch more cayanne and a pinch of dried chilies to make up for no chipoltle. they were delicious and pretty easy too.

Boiled Bagels

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
pretty good, a few minor problems though: 1. they were really hard not to burn and still cook all the way through! 2.they were a little on the salty side. 3. they were not quite as puffy as I had hoped but that may be my own fault. (I had to try to figure out how much yeast to use based on measurement not weight/packets because my yeast was in bulk. this was a tricky task which in the end I used 1 heaping tablespoon of instant yeast. next time I will maybe use more?)I was glad I followed other reviewers tips and let them rise for 30 minutes otherwise they probly would have been a total flop. but overall not Bad, and I give the recipe grace since It was my forst time with bagels.

Exquisite Yeastless Focaccia

excelent base and sooo easy! top it any way you want, I used finely choped green onion, thym, sage, oregano, garlic powder, basil, cayene, grated marble cheese and lots of rosemary. It came out perfect! It also makes a good pizza crust if you stretch it out over a large round pan, then top it with sauce, cheese and whatever your heart desires! I have made it both ways many times, with many variations, always a hit!

Cheesiest Potato Soup

used one can condensed cream of chicken soup instead of heavy creme and milk instead of chicken broth. Popular with my family. It's delicious.
