Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These cookies are amazing. What a great combo of oatmeal, butter and spices. I did as some others and used only butter, no shortening. I also doubled the vanilla. I think next time I may add about 2 tsp flour as they almost fell apart. Other than that, they are perfect! Thank you, Beth! They are the BEST!
