Robin's Quinoa with Mushrooms and Spinach

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
I didn't like the flavor. It tasted rubbing alcohol-y. Maybe I just need a different wine.

Quinoa and Black Beans

I loved it! I have been looking for different quinoa recipes that aren't too bland or boring and I found it. (I used chicken broth instead of vegetable)

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
These were good, but just not really my taste. They were a little to "fluffy" I guess for me. I LOVE chewy cookies and these were chewy, but maybe it was the pudding in it I didn't like. They seemed bland but maybe I'm just crazy.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
This was good but it just tastes like yellow cake with a cinnamon brown sugar crust. For this reason I wouldn't call this coffee cake. Just cake.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
This cheesecake was rich but not so rich that I couldn't eat more! It had just enough pumpkin flavor and spice to feel festive. I am not usually a big fan of pumkpin but this was great! Without the cool whip it probably would have been a 4 and a half star recipe, so don't forget it!!

Basil Cream Chicken

definitely an indulgent chicken dish with the heavy cream and butter but it was delicious. I served this chicken with mashed potatoes. It was a real comfort food kinda meal!

Best Chicken Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
This chicken was not the best ever. I thought it was pretty plain although I did like the thought of sour cream as a binding ingredient. I will probably use sour cream instead of mayo in the Amazing Chicken recipe.

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
This recipe is extremely easy. I added 1/2 a tablespoon of mustard and chili powder and pepper to the mayo. It was pretty flavorful however I thought the texture was a little gooey. I served it with salad but I think it would go really well with spaghetti. Tomato sauce would be good with it.

Smothered Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
I used others advice and added one can of refried beans to the middle and I didn't add any water -- I don't like runny food all over my plate. I also added a little chili powder and garlic to the ground turkey for a little more flavor. I thought it was delicious and it made quite a large helping so we had leftovers for a few days. Very hearty and satisfying!

Healthy Turkey Loaf

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
I followed everyone else's advice to double the recipe and bake at 400 for an hour. Someone else suggested added sliced tomatos on top which I also really liked. I also added cilantro for a little more kick. It was flavorful and had a great texture. It also made really good leftovers. Even my anti-health food boyfriend loved it and wanted it again the next week.
