Ham and Bean Soup II
i think this might be the best soup I've ever made .. and I've made quite a few soups. I simmered my ham bone for a couple hours in the water with half an onion and a couple bay leaves, peppercorns too. I also added some rosemary. Absolutely delicious .. you will not be dissapointed with this one. Even my eleven year old daughter who is not a soup fan ate a whole bowl.

Cinnamon Pecan Braids
Whoa .. this was sooo good. I was tired of baking the usual cookies and muffins for my kids lunches at school .. so decided to try this recipe .. I modified it by ommitting the pecans and adding diced apples and raisins ... I also did not put the dough in the fridge overnight but just left it on the counter for an hour or so .. still the recipe was outstanding. Will be making this again. Would also be excellent with a peach filling. Dough was like a cinnamon role and my kids devoured this and my daughters friend who was over at the time even asked for the recipe to take home.
