I have a passion for creative arts, such as drawing, painting, sewing, carpentry, photography, and most of all, cooking! Trained in a prestigious London art college, I am currently working on developing my art in Japan. My foremost interest is photographing my cooking projects. Without a doubt, my favourite cuisine is the Japanese one, and I have formal training in the proper preparation of traditional food. Some of my interests include the creation of fusion recipes: mainly, a combination of Japanese and western foodstuffs. Additionally, I find the intricacies of French cuisine very appealing. Popular celebrations in Japan include New Year’s Day and the feast of the Obon Period, which is in the middle of August. Usually, relatives gather at my house, which presents me with a perfect opportunity to prepare traditional food for their tasting pleasure! Thus far, every year has been a huge success. Simply, when I cook my favourite Japanese foods for my boyfriend, and he says, “This is fabulous’. Last year, when I was cooking bouillabaisse, I attempted to drain some excess soup that contained inedible prawn shells when I accidentally dropped almost all of the seafood onto the floor. I was so ashamed of my clumsiness.
