I grew up in rural Oregon, went to college in Northwest Washington. Left Oregon for dryer country when I was 36 - found Huntsville, AL and never left. Pasta dishes, soups and stews in a crockpot and desserts. Lefsa and Kringla during the holidays. Being able to throw stuff together without a recipe like my mom always did and it come out tasting great!!! I have learned to write down what I am throwing together if I plan to take what I am throwing together to a potluck!!!!! I cannot cook good cornbread so I leave that to Jiffy or Martha White!!!! They do an amazing job at a great price too!
