Chicken Pot Pie IX

I did what people recommended, and made double the sauce. I added most of it. It definitely needs more spices, will try garlic next time. Somehow, this came out kind of sweet... not sure how. I also added some broccoli, and boiled everything in chicken broth. Will definitely make again. Oh, and cooked at 375 for 45 min.

Lentil Soup

I doubled the spices like people said, used 3 carrots and 3 celery, added a 1/2 tsp of cumin, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and an extra tbsp of balsamic vinegar. Delicious!

Turkey Burgers

Awesome flavor - I would give the flavor a 5, but... I haven't ever had turkey burgers before, and I cannot stand the texture. Maybe if I made them smaller it would be better.

i dont know if i did something wrong or what, but i will not make this again. i am terribly dissapointed. this was nothing like any pad thai ive had. i wish it had been good, i was really looking forward to it!

Gooey Butter Cake III

next time i will cook it at maybe 300 for an hour instead. i am also at a high altitude, which could have changed things a little. but it was delicious! you cant buy gooey butter cake in colorado like you can in st. louis!

Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

this was really delicious. i kind of just added the amounts i wanted of the different ingredients. i added some extra lemon, not quite a whole stalk of celery, and less than a fourth of an onion. im so glad i added less onion! i also added a tiny bit more mayo, and cooked the beans a little before mashing them. i wish i would have put it in a food processor to make it more smooth. but it was surprisingly delicious!

Meatball Sandwich

i would probably really say 4 1/2 stars. it didn't have as much flavor as i was hoping for, but with the sauce and provelone, these were really really delicious. i used about half as much breadcrumbs. and i didnt read the directions, so i added everything into the meat except the sauce, provelone, and bread. instead of garlic powder i added onion powder. and they were delicious! even made them the wrong way!

Mixture for Meatballs, Meatloaf or Burgers

i made meatloaf out of this mixture. i didnt think this had much flavor. it smelled great, but i didnt love it. i would prefer the packets of meatloaf seasoning from the grocery store.

this was good, i think all of the amount really just depend on your personal taste. i wish i had added more sauce, maybe more cheese too. i used more sauce than called for, and i used about double the amount of cheese. "classico" sauce was really good.

Simple Beef Flavored Gravy

ive never tried to make gravy before, but this was awesome. i used chicken boullion instead - didnt have beef. i think i added too much because it was a little salty, and i didnt add onion, just some onion powder, but it was still great. i was shocked.

Quinoa Porridge

this was really really good. it had the perfect amount of sweetness. it had a tiny bit of a crunch, but it wasnt really crunchy like it sounded like everyone else's was. i cooked it longer than 25 minutes only because i wanted it to be thicker. i cooked it at a very low simmer for 25 minutes, and the texture was great.

Barbecued Beef

This was great. I cut as much of the fat off as I could before I cooked it, and I didn't have any to skim off the top once it was done. I used someone's idea about using less vinegar (about half as much as the recipe said) and it was fabulous. This was very good, and I will definitely make it again.

Unbelievably Easy and Delicious Vegetarian Chili

This was pretty good, and I will probably make it again. I'm not vegetarian, but still used Boca "Ground Beef" and I didn;t really notice a difference. I bet it would be good with actual ground beef also. I added some chili powder just because I wanted to, but probably didn't need it. Even my friends, who were hesitant about the fake ground beef, liked it. This was tasty.
