I loved these. I followed the recipe, minus the crystalized ginger. Still VERY good! Moist, delicious cupcakes with the taste of the season in them. I made a simple cream cheese frosting with 4oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon. What a hit with everyone!

Heavenly White Cake

This cake is great! It is a VERY dense and filling white cake, which I like. Almost a carrot-cake like texture. I made it for Father's Day because my dad only likes white cake. He loved it! This is my 3rd or 4th time making this cake, and here's my suggestions: Add the extra 1/2 cup milk, it made a difference for me. Also I took the advice of another user and made the batter before the meringue. Much easier. Also I only add 1/2 tsp almond extract instead of 1 tsp, or else the almond flavor is way overpowering for me. Also makes great moist cupcakes! Thank you!

Best Brownies

These were amazing! I made them for my boyfriend since he loves brownies, and since he loves caramel I poured 2/3 of the recipe in the pan, let it bake five minutes, and poured a caramel sauce (1/3 cup condensed milk and a package of caramels) on top, then poured the other 1/3 of the mixture on top and swirled it and baked it the remaining time. Absoulutely delicious!
