I'm currently engaged to a great guy (in fact he's the reason I'm here). I can cook, but i never had any formal training. Frank, has culinary art and pastry classes. So it'll be nice to surprise him with recipes that he never had yet. I lost my dad recently so anything that makes me feel closer to him. Comfort foods you'd call it. Baking with my kids. It's a tradition when we make holiday cookies that the younger ones help. They grease the trays, knead the dough, cut out the shapes, and box them for gifts. The kids are covered head to toe in flour they've manageds to get it everywhere but they're all smiling and happy. I do this know with my girls, and will continue with the grandkids too. Just like Nana did with me and my siblings Any time I get a new recipe right or improve on an old one. Making fried chicken, for the first time, I managed to cause a small grease fire. It only happened once thank god
