Tzatziki VII
I didn't have fresh garlic so I had to use garlic powder (about two teaspoons) and I had dried dill, I used almost a tablespoon. I used fresh ground pepper and a dash of salt. I drained the yoghurt for over twenty four hours (in a seive lined with coffee filters), and really squeezed out the cucumbers - first in my bare hands, then again in coffee filters just to get every little bit of moisture. It turned out amazing, very tangy. It's not quite as thick as I'd like, but I'll see how it is after sitting in the fridge overnight. I'm just glad to know I can make my own tzatziki now!

Sloppy Joes II
These sloppy joes were great! After browning the meat with the onions and peppers (to which I also added a shredded carrot), I combined the meat/veg with the sauce in the crockpot and put it on low for 3 hrs as suggested in another review. I also modified the sauce - I added another 1/2 cup of ketchup, used about 2 tblspns mustard and brown sugar, upped the garlic powder to match, and used 2 tblspns bbq sauce, just to make it a little more saucy and a tad less ketchupy.

Golden Sweet Cornbread
This is my go-to cornbread recipe - it's good for everything, chili, soup, or just eating hot with butter. My friends all love it and I bring it to any gathering where a side might be appreciated. I even have the recipe memorised!
