When I was young, I lived with my mother, who left for work before I was up usually, and often got home after I was in bed. Thus, at the age of 9, I had to learn to cook, or else have fast food three meals a day. After living in Thailand for a while, I love cooking authentic Thai food. So far I have only found two restaurants that cook better Thai food than me, and one is in Thailand. I don't really have any family cooking traditions, other than making big family meals on holidays, and having everyone over.
